YeshivaCation is a bi-annual learning program held in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.
The course includes stimulating seminars, lectures and interactive workshops for women, and is designed for students with a broad range of preexisting Jewish education; from those who are new to the study of Torah, to those who have already spent time in institutions of higher Jewish education. Women who attend are from all walks of life — college students, professionals and homemakers- and vary in their levels of observance. In addition to serving as an educational experience, the program is meant to be an energizing, and enjoyable vacation in the Big Apple with an intimate and diverse group of Jewish women.
In the heart of Brooklyn–New York’s most hip and colorful borough–and only a brief train ride away from the bustling business and shopping districts of Manhattan, Crown Heights has been called, “a small town in the big city.” Permeated with chassidic warmth and the feel of “community,” you’ll be sure to feel the family-like
love and unity as it extends towards you.
Program participants stay at our campus in Crown Heights apartments, or at the beautiful dormitory of a real women’s yeshiva located in the heart of Crown Heights. Weekday lunches and dinners are served on campus, and Shabbat meals are in part shared with local hosted families, and in part held communally. This design, provides students with a varied social experience, along with an insider’s view to a traditional Chassidic home and family.
Yeshivacation has been involved in educating Jewish women for over 30 years. Immerse yourself in a Torah learning program the largest of its kind outside of Israel. In addition, YeshivaCation boasts many leading scholars and guest lecturers and their instruction, wisdom, knowledge, and Chassidic warmth, serve to elevate the program and ensure a truly inspiring educational experience for you.
